Updated Atlantic HMS Recreational and Commercial Fishery Compliance Guides are now available. The new guides are designed to help fishermen comply with federal regulations for tunas, swordfish, sharks, and billfishes in the U.S. Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and Carribean.
The latest update features information on new management measures implemented in Amendment 11 to address overfishing of the North Atlantic shortfin mako shark stock and measurement of bigeye and yellowfin tuna damaged through predation by sharks and other marine species.
